SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE OVER THE EASTERN PLAINS OF
NEW MEXICO THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. MOVEMENT WILL BE TO THE
NORTHEAST BETWEEN 20 AND 30 MPH WITH STORMS BEING MOST CONCENTRATED
FROM CANNON AIR FORCE BASE TO BROADVIEW. ADDITIONAL ISOLATED STORMS
WILL ALSO IMPACT PORTIONS OF NORTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO. EXPECT MODERATE
TO HEAVY RAIN AND HAIL...SOME AS LARGE AS NICKELS. RAIN AMOUNTS WILL
AVERAGE ONE QUARTER TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH BUT WILL LOCALLY
REACH OVER ONE INCH...ESPECIALLY IN QUAY AND CURRY COUNTIES. STRONG
AND ERRATIC WIND GUSTS TO 55 MPH AND DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THE STORMS.
