...DENSE FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS
MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has extended the Dense
Fog Advisory, which is now in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...Jackson and Marshall counties
  through 10 AM CDT.

* VISIBILITY...Widespread visibilities around 1 mile, with
  frequent reductions to one quarter of a mile or less. This
  will be especially true in local river valleys and near large
  bodies of water.

* IMPACTS...Dense fog will result in significant visibility
  impairment and hazardous driving conditions for those
  traveling this morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...

Patchy dense fog, mainly in sheltered areas and near large bodies
of water, across northwest and north central Alabama, coupled with
southern middle Tennessee, has either diminished or started to
lift this Monday morning with the onset of daytime heating. As a
result, the Dense Fog Advisory which had been in effect for much
of the area has been allowed to expire.
