.A CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE REGION THROUGH
SUNDAY MORNING...ALLOWING COLDER AIR TO SETTLE OVER THE TENNESSEE
VALLEY AND SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS.

CLEAR SKIES AND CALM WINDS WILL COMBINE WITH THIS COLD AIR MASS TO
PRODUCE A HARD FREEZE BY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. SEVERAL HOURS OF AT
OR BELOW 28 DEGREES ARE LIKELY IN MOST AREAS LATE TONIGHT...WITH
TEMPERATURES DROPPING INTO THE TEENS TO UPPER 20S BY DAYBREAK

CDT/ TONIGHT TO 11 AM EDT /10 AM CDT/ SUNDAY...

* EVENT...A HARD FREEZE EXPECTED WITH LOWS FROM THE TEENS NORTH TO
  THE UPPER 20S SOUTH LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING.

* TIMING...TEMPERATURES FALLING AT OR BELOW 28 DEGREES BETWEEN
  MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND MID-MORNING SUNDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL
  REMAIN BELOW 28 DEGREES FOR 2 TO 5 HOURS TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...THE PROLONGED PERIOD OF FREEZING TEMPERATURES COULD
  KILL STRAWBERRY PLANTS AND BLOOMS OF ANY FRUIT TREES IN THE
  WARNING AREA.
