...ALL RIVER FORECAST POINTS WERE BELOW FLOOD STAGE THIS MORNING...

RAINFALL DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS WAS GENERALLY AROUND AN INCH
THROUGHOUT THE MIDLANDS...LESSER AMOUNTS WERE SEEN IN THE CSRA WITH
HIGHER AMOUNTS OVER 1.5 INCHES IN PARTS OF THE EASTERN MIDLANDS.

DRY HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN TO BUILD INTO THE AREA TODAY
AND TOMORROW AND CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN DRY
THROUGH THE WEEKEND....AS A RESULT OF THE RAINFALL EXPECT SOME
RIVER RISES IN THE EASTERN MIDLANDS THROUGH FRIDAY AND MINOR
FLUCTUATIONS TO RIVER STAGES ELSEWHERE...HOWEVER NO FLOODING
IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
