the following rivers or creeks: Pere Marquette River at
.The Pere Marquette River at Scottville is near the expected crest
with an ever-so-slight rise. The actual peak is anticipated to occur
between late tonight and early Tuesday. The crest could narrowly edge
either side...above/below...of bankfull. Trends will continue to be
monitored through the night provided that any changes are
necessary. The following forecast is based on observed and forecast
24 hour precipitation.
For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
4.0 feet at 7 PM Monday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum
stage forecasted is 4.0 feet after midnight tonight. Flood stage is
5.5 feet. At 4.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying
areas adjacent to the river occurs..
