A cold front moved through the area on Sunday, and had reached north
Florida by late Monday morning. Cool, dry high pressure was centered
over the mid Mississippi Valley.
Some light rain fell over the area on Sunday. Any measurable
rainfall amounts were well under a tenth of an inch. Any remaining
cloud cover decreased overnight, and skies were sunny around the
region by early Monday afternoon.
High temperatures on Sunday ranged from near 80 to the mid 80s. Low
temperatures overnight were in the mid 40s to around 50. Readings at
2 PM Monday were in the mid 60s to around 70, under sunny skies.
Tonight will be clear with lows in the mid to upper 40s. Tuesday
will be sunny, with highs in the lower to mid 70s.
