High pressure was in place over much of the southeast U.S. A frontal
boundary extended from the Great Lakes area, through northern
Illinois, into the Central Plains.

High temperatures Friday were in the mid 80s to the lower 90s. Low
temperatures overnight ranged from the mid 60s to the mid 70s.

There were a few showers and thunderstorms across the eastern third
of the state.

We can look for scattered showers or thunderstorms tonight with
another chance on Saturday... but most areas will remain dry.
Overnight lows will be in the mid 60s to the lower 70s. On Saturday
highs will be in the upper 80s to the lower 90s.
