HIGH PRESSURE WAS CENTERED OVER LAKE MICHIGAN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
AND BEGINNING TO SLIDE EAST. HIGH CLOUDS WERE ON THE
INCREASE...WITH A FEW LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS POSSIBLE WEST OF
INTERSTATE 39 TOWARD EARLY EVENING. AFTERNOON HIGHS WERE
PRIMARILY IN THE MID AND UPPER 50S INLAND...WITH ONSHORE WINDS
THROUGH THE DAY KEEPING AREAS NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN IN THE LOWER AND
MID 40S. THE CHANCE FOR A FEW SPOTTY RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...WITH LOWS GENERALLY RANGING FROM THE UPPER 30S
TO THE MID 40S. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL
DEVELOP BY MID THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO THURSDAY EVENING FROM WEST
TO EAST AS LOW PRESSURE TRACKS ACROSS THE REGION. HIGHS THURSDAY
WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 60S NEAR THE WISCONSIN BORDER TO THE
UPPER 60S SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80...THOUGH SOUTHEAST WINDS SHOULD
KEEP PARTS OF THE ILLINOIS LAKEFRONT IN THE 50S. FRIDAY WILL SEE
PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND MILD CONDITIONS TO CLOSE OUT THE WORK WEEK
AS HIGHS REACH THE UPPER 60S AND LOWER 70S. COOLER CONDITIONS WILL
RETURN FOR THE WEEKEND...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE LAKEFRONT DUE TO
PERSISTENT ONSHORE WINDS...WITH CHANCES FOR RAIN SHOWERS.
