HERE IS A LOOK AT THE WEATHER FEATURES THAT WILL AFFECT THE REGION
OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.

LOW PRESSURE WILL BRING A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING
RAIN LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY MORNING. ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL
AND ICY CONDITIONS ARE MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR ACROSS NORTHERN MARYLAND
NEAR THE MASON DIXON LINE. WARMER AIR WILL MOVE IN AND GRADUALLY
CHANGE THE MIXED PRECIPITATION OVER TO RAIN OVER THE BALTIMORE AND
WASHINGTON DC METRO AREAS SUNDAY EVENING. THERE REMAINS SOME
UNCERTAINTY WITH REGARD TO HOW LONG THE COLD AIR WILL REMAIN IN
PLACE.

THE PRECIPITATION ENDS AS RAIN FROM WEST TO EAST ON MONDAY. COLD
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE REGION LATE MONDAY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.
