Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A ridge of high pressure will remain over the region today, then
weaken during the middle of the week as Hurricane Maria approaches
North Carolina. Temperatures will remain unseasonably warm through
mid week. A strong cold front will cross the region Thursday,
with more seasonable temperatures for the end of the week. Little
if any rain is expected through the week.
