A LINE OF STRONG STORMS WERE MOVING ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND
SOUTHWEST MISSOURI THIS MORNING. GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE THIS MORNING
ESPECIALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF I-44.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE IN THE REGION TODAY AND STALL OUT OVER THE
AREA...BRINGING WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. SOME STORMS
COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE LATER TODAY AND TONIGHT WITH LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL OF ONE TO THREE INCHES IS POSSIBLE.

WARM CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST TO CONTINUE INTO LATE WEEK WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S. ANOTHER COLD FRONT AND
RAIN CHANCES RETURN NEXT WEEKEND.
