...SNOW IN DENALI NATIONAL PARK THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE MONDAY
MORNING...

A WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE OVER INTERIOR ALASKA AND IS EXPECTED
TO BRING A PERIOD OF LATE SPRING SNOW TO AREAS WITHIN DENALI
NATIONAL PARK THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE MONDAY MORNING. 2 TO 4
INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED...MAINLY ABOVE 3000 FEET.
THIS INCLUDES THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE DENALI PARK ROAD AND
EIELSON VISITOR CENTER. PRECIPITATION AT LOWER ELEVATIONS BELOW
3000 FEET...INCLUDING THE PARKS HIGHWAY...WILL REMAIN AS RAIN.
HOWEVER..MAY SEE A BRIEF PERIOD LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING
WHERE SNOW MAY MIX WITH RAIN. NO SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED
ALONG THE PARKS HIGHWAY AT THIS TIME.
