...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LACKAWANNA AND EASTERN
LUZERNE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 605 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Penobscot, or 7 miles southeast of Wilkes-Barre, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Dunmore, Kingston, Nanticoke, Plains, Old
Forge, Pittston, Plymouth, and Moosic.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Interstate 80 between 262 and 273.
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 151A and B and 186.
 Interstate 84 near 4.
 Interstate 380 between 20 and 24.
 Interstate 476 between 105 and 115.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
