...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTH CENTRAL COLUMBIA...
SOUTHEASTERN MCDUFFIE...NORTHWESTERN BURKE...RICHMOND AND WESTERN
AIKEN COUNTIES...

At 456 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Wrens, or 11
miles east of Gibson, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Gordon, Hephzibah, Blythe and Keysville.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for east central
Georgia.
