At 334 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were in western Burke
County extending from Keysville southward through Saint Clair,
Gough, Vidette, and Rosier. Movement was south-southwest near
15 mph.

The storms likely contained wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and
small hail along with dangerous lightning and heavy downpours.

Ponding of water will occur in poor-drainage areas. Do not
attempt to drive on flooded roads. It takes little water to
move a vehicle off the road and into deeper water.
