...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN PLUMAS COUNTY HAS
EXPIRED...

IN ADDITION TO SMALL HAIL...POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS...FREQUENT
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN IS OCCURRING WITH THIS
STORM. MOVE INDOORS IMMEDIATELY! WHEN THUNDER ROARS...GO INDOORS.

A WEATHER SPOTTER IN CHESTER REPORTED SMALL HAIL...PONDING OF WATER
ON ROADWAYS...ESTIMATED WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH AND A LOSS OF
ELECTRICAL POWER DURING THE STORM.

THE STORM HAS WEAKENED AS IT MOVED EAST OF CHESTER BUT IS STILL
PRODUCING ABUNDANT LIGHTING. THE STORM IS STILL CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
HEAVY RAIN AND PONDING OF WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS. MOTORISTS SHOULD
SLOW DOWN AND EXERCISE CAUTION.

THE STORM HAS SPLIT WITH ONE CELL HEADING WEST TOWARDS MINERAL...AND
THE OTHER MOVING TO THE SOUTHWEST AWAY FROM CHESTER.
