URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Duluth MN
837 PM CDT Thu Mar 23 2017

...AREAS OF FREEZING RAIN TONIGHT ACROSS PARTS OF NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN...

.A light wintry mix overnight will impact parts of the Northland
causing some road surfaces and sidewalks to become slick. A mix of
rain sleet snow and freezing rain is possible, with temperatures
right around freezing leading to highly variable conditions.
Higher terrain is more likely to experience freezing rain with
temperatures right around freezing...with the highest danger for
icy conditions on elevated roadways like bridges and overpasses.
In northwest Wisconsin this possibility of freezing rain is also
expected to be localized... with the highest risk for ice
accumulation in Iron and Price counties. Those traveling this overnight
should use extreme caution when driving across bridges and
overpasses...and be prepared to slippery stretches.
