...WINTER STORM TO AFFECT PORTIONS OF EASTERN IOWA AND NORTHWEST
ILLINOIS THIS WEEKEND...

.THERE WILL BE TWO PERIODS OF SNOW. IN THE FIRST ROUND LIGHT TO
MODERATE SNOW WILL SPREAD FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST SATURDAY
EVENING. THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR HEAVIER SNOW BANDS TO OCCUR WHICH
WOULD CAUSE QUICK REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY AND HEAVY SNOWFALL
RATES. THE SECOND ROUND OF SNOW WILL BE MORE WIDESPREAD... AND
WILL BEGIN ON SUNDAY. SOME AREAS MAY NOT SEE A BREAK BETWEEN THE
TWO ROUNDS.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE MID 20S.

* IMPACTS...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CREATE SLIPPERY TRAVEL
