SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a
Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow...which is in effect from 6
PM Thursday to 6 AM MDT Saturday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Western Uinta Mountains.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...10 to 20 inches.

* TIMING...Snow will develop Thursday afternoon and become heavy
  at times during the evening. Periods of snow, heavy at times,
  will continue into Friday night before diminishing Saturday
  morning.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions can be expected across all
  routes through the western Uinta Mountains during this period.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means that significant
accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving
conditions may be hazardous. Use caution. Keep a winter storm
survival kit in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow...which is in effect from 6
PM Thursday to 6 AM MDT Saturday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Central and southern Utah Mountains.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...10 to 20 inches.

* TIMING...Snow will develop Thursday afternoon and become heavy
  at times during the evening. Periods of snow, heavy at times,
  will continue into Friday night before diminishing Saturday
  morning.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions can be expected across all
  routes through the central and southern mountains during this
  period including the higher passes of I-15 across central and
  southern Utah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving

SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a
Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow...which is in effect from 6
PM Thursday to 6 AM MDT Saturday.

* AFFECTED AREA...West central and southwest Utah.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 to 5 inches except 4 to 8 inches along
  the I-15 corridor.

* TIMING...Rain and snow will develop Thursday afternoon and
  change to snow Thursday evening. Snow will become heavy at times
  Thursday night. Periods of snow, heavy at times, will continue
  into Friday night before diminishing Saturday morning.

* SNOW LEVELS...Near 8000 feet Thursday afternoon falling to
  valley floors by Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions can be expected across the
  area, particularly along I-15 in west central and southwest
  Utah.

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow...which is in
effect from 6 PM Thursday to 6 AM MDT Saturday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Wasatch Mountains and the Wasatch Plateau and
  Book Cliffs.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...8 to 16 inches

* TIMING...Snow will develop Thursday afternoon and become heavy
  at times during the evening. Periods of snow, heavy at times,
  will continue into Friday night before diminishing Saturday
  morning.

* WINDS...East to northeast 25 to 35 mph with higher gusts will be
  possible late Thursday night into Saturday, especially across
  the Wasatch Range.

* IMPACTS...Occasional winter driving conditions can be expected
across most routes including Parleys and Soldier Summits.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that visibilities will be limited
due to a combination of falling and blowing snow. Use caution when
traveling, especially in open areas.

* TIMING...Rain and snow will develop Thursday afternoon and
  change to snow Thursday evening. Snow will become heavy at times
  Thursday night. Periods of snow, heavy at times, will continue
  into Friday night before diminishing Saturday morning.

* SNOW LEVELS...Near 8000 feet Thursday afternoon falling to
  valley floors by Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Occasional winter driving conditions can be expected
  across the area including US-89.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that snow accumulations

  will continue into Friday night before diminishing Saturday
  morning.

* WINDS...East winds 20 to 30 mph with higher gusts are possible
  Friday afternoon into Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Occasional winter driving conditions can be expected
across the area, including I-80.
