...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MST FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect until noon
MST Friday.

* AFFECTED AREA...The Cache Valley, Northern Wasatch Front, Salt
  Lake and Tooele Valleys.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Generally 1-4", potentially higher near
  Davis county. Benches will see locally higher totals.

* TIMING...Snow showers, heavy at times, will continue through
  tomorrow morning. Lake Enhancement may bring locally higher
totals to areas near Davis county.

* IMPACTS...Snow showers will bring abrupt drops in visibility.
  Periodic Winter driving conditions can be expected, with the
  most prolonged impacts being near Davis County including
  Interstate 15 and Highway 89.

will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads. Use caution while driving.

* AFFECTED AREA...The Wasatch and Western Uinta Mountains,
  Wasatch Plateau and Book Cliffs, and the Central Utah
  Mountains.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...An additional foot of snow, up to 2 feet
  more east of the Great Salt Lake.

* TIMING...Snow showers will continue, heavy at times, through
  tomorrow morning, before diminishing mid to late afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions including snow covered roads
  and reduced visibility can be expected along all mountain routes.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...An additional 1 to 4 inches, locally higher
  Odgen Valley.

* TIMING...Snow showers, heavy at times, will continue through
  tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions including snow covered
  roads and reduced visibility can be expected across the area.
  Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time.
