URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

.A storm system will strengthen as it moves across the Northern
Rockies and into the Central Plains today and tonight. Snowfall
will overspread northeast Wyoming, the Black Hills, and southern
South Dakota this morning, continuing across the area through late
tonight. Bands of heavy snowfall are expected at times across
southern South Dakota today. Snowfall will begin to taper off from
northwest to southeast later tonight and early Friday. Some
blowing snow will be possible with gusty winds. The latest road
conditions in both South Dakota and Wyoming are available by
calling 511.

...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST FRIDAY...

* Snow will develop this morning and continue through tonight,
  tapering off early Friday.

* The heaviest snowfall will occur this afternoon and evening.

* Total snow accumulations of 8 to 14 inches are expected, with
  the higher amounts generally near the Nebraska border.

* Look for significant reductions in visibility at times in heavy
  snow and some blowing snow.

* Travel will become very difficult later today through Friday
  morning.
