In addition, there is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms later
this afternoon and evening across portions of the Pee Dee and
Lumberton areas. The primary threat is from damaging wind gusts to 60
mph. These thunderstorms may also produce frequent cloud to ground
lightning.
