...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Increasing southerly winds Friday morning ahead of the next frontal
boundary. Rain develops along the coast during the morning then
slowly spreads inland Friday afternoon and evening with
thunderstorms possible. Showers and thunderstorms linger into
Saturday as the core of the upper low will be over the region,
though the best chances will be south of San Francisco on Saturday.
Drying trend starts Sunday then temperatures warm Monday through
Wednesday with a return to dry springtime weather. Long range trends
suggest a cooling trend with a chance of some light rain showers by
next Friday.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Another round of gusty wind and showers will build across mostly
Mendocino and Lake Counties today. Wind will shift south to east
through the day with peak gusts near 45 mph in exposed areas. Most
likely rainfall will be 0.5 to 1.0 inches though east wind will
reduce rain at lower elevations. COnditions will continue to warm
and dry through the weekend with strong onshore flow during the
afternoon close to shore Sunday into early next week. Inland, RH
will drop as low as 30 percent with highs in the 70s by Monday.
