...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL MARION COUNTY
THROUGH 115 AM EDT...

At 1229 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lake Weir, or 7 miles northwest of The Villages, moving southeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ocala, Weirsdale, Santos, The Village of Briar Meadow, Ocklawaha,
Silver Springs Shores, Lake Weir, Belleview, and Summerfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
