.Discussion...

Widespread precipitation will set in across the area today, with
snow starting back up over the mountains later this morning. The
snow will spread east to the rest of the higher terrain, with
showers and thunderstorms across the eastern plains later this
afternoon into tonight. These conditions will persist through
Saturday and most of Sunday, before warmer conditions develop once
again next week.

Smoke dispersions will be very good today and poor tonight. On
Saturday, dispersions will be poor early in the day but will
improve to good or better by early afternoon, except over parts of
the Palmer Divide, which shall remain fair to poor.
