...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SHAWNEE AND NORTHERN
OSAGE COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM CDT...

At 1123 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Auburn to 7 miles northeast of Admire.
Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Topeka, Osage City, Carbondale, Richland, Auburn, Overbrook,
Lyndon, Burlingame, Scranton, Pauline, and Berryton.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 156 and 175.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for east central
Kansas.
