...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT...

For the following areas...
Duluth MN to Port Wing WI...
Lake Superior west of a line from Saxon Harbor WI to Grand Portage MN
beyond 5NM...
Two Harbors to Duluth MN...

At 604 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Superior
Harbor, or near Duluth Lift Bridge Channel, moving southeast at 40
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves. Wind gusts to 42 knots have been
         reported with this storm along with lots of pea size hail.

Locations impacted include...
Superior Harbor, Duluth Lift Bridge Channel, Duluth Harbor, Superior
Entry, and Barkers Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, small hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with this storm.
