This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...REST OF THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Scattered showers and isolated non-severe thunderstorms are
possible today across the outlook area especially this afternoon
into the early evening. The main threat will be lightning and hail
smaller than a quarter.  There is also a threat for funnel clouds
and brief weak tornadoes into this evening. If you see a funnel
cloud or tornado, seek shelter indoors and then contact your local
law enforcement agency for relay to the National Weather Service.

Northwest winds of 15 to 20 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH are forecast
to develop this morning and continue into Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A storm system is forecast to lift from the Plains into Great
Lakes Monday night into Tuesday. This will bring chances for
showers and thunderstorms to the area. It is too early to
determine the severe threat at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected this afternoon or tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Storms will move south southeast
at 10 to 20 MPH.
