...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTERN CLINTON...NORTHEASTERN
CLAY AND EASTERN DEKALB COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for central, north
central, northwestern and west central Missouri.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CDT
FOR DAVIESS...SOUTHWESTERN GRUNDY...RAY...CARROLL...CALDWELL...
LAFAYETTE AND LIVINGSTON COUNTIES...

At 1203 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles south of Bethany to near Mayview, moving
northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Public. Several reports of wind damage have been received
         from these storms.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Chillicothe, Trenton, Richmond, Odessa, Higginsville, Lexington,
Carrollton, Concordia, Hamilton, Gallatin, Braymer, Waverly,
Wellington, Norborne, Polo, Hardin, Jamesport, Corder, Alma, and
Breckenridge.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 31 and 62.
 Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 58 and 78.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for central, north
central, northwestern and west central Missouri.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
