...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN JEWELL AND NORTHEASTERN SMITH COUNTIES...

At 352 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
Bellaire, or 35 miles east of Phillipsburg, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Smith Center and Bellaire.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for north central
Kansas.
