.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.
Light to moderate southeast winds expected through Friday. Seas
of 3 to 5 feet are expected Thursday into Saturday. Caution flags
might be needed. Conditions could become somewhat favorable for
patchy sea fog through Thursday, although rising sea surface
temperatures may inhibit development. Rain chances expected
Friday and through the upcoming weekend as a cold front stalls
over Southeast Texas. Once the front pushes into the Gulf of
Mexico on Sunday, moderate to strong northeast to east winds
develop in its wake.
