...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Trinity River near Crockett affecting Trinity, Houston, Walker
  and Madison Counties.

  Trinity River near Romayor affecting San Jacinto, Liberty and
  Polk Counties.

  Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County.

  Trinity River near Goodrich affecting San Jacinto, Liberty and
  Polk Counties.

  Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Chambers and Liberty
  Counties.

  Trinity River at Riverside affecting San Jacinto, Walker, Trinity
  and Polk Counties.

  Menard Creek near Rye affecting Hardin, Liberty and Polk Counties.

  Bedias Creek near Madisonville affecting Walker and Madison
  Counties.

For the Trinity River...including Riverside, Goodrich, Crockett,
Liberty, Moss Bluff, Romayor...Major flooding is forecast.
For the Menard Creek...including Rye...Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Crockett.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues in the
  vicinity of the gage impacting ranching operations and prison
  farms. Livestock should be removed from low areas in the flood
  plain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 41.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:45 AM CDT Saturday was 41.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 42.2
    feet this evening.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    42.2 feet on 05/21/2015.

  This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Romayor.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 42.8 feet, There is massive lowland flooding in
  vicinity of gage with thousands of head of livestock endangered
  unless moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 42.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 30.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:30 AM CDT Saturday was 42.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 44.8
    feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    43.5 feet on 04/13/1945.

* WHERE...Menard Creek near Rye.

* WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins with
  widespread inundation of the flood plain in the vicinity of the
  gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 28.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 5:15 AM CDT Saturday was 33.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.5
    feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    29.8 feet on 05/18/1989.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins as water
  escapes the main channel in the vicinity of the gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:45 AM CDT Saturday was 24.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this morning and continue falling to 14.4 feet Wednesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    19.8 feet on 02/05/2012.

* IMPACTS...At 46.8 feet, In past flood at levels above 46.8 feet
  many homes below Lake Livingston were flooded...some with water
  midway up their windows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 48.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 36.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:45 AM CDT Saturday was 48.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 48.4
    feet this morning.
  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    48.3 feet on 08/30/2017.

  vicinity of the gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 16.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 9.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:30 AM CDT Saturday was 16.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 18.4 feet
    Wednesday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 12.2 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    18.7 feet on 09/01/2017.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 140.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins with
  widespread flooding in Trinity and Walker Counties. Water is in
  several homes in the Deep River Plantation and Green Rich Shores
  subdivisions. Roads into several subdivisions in Walker and
  Trinity Counties and secondary roads along the river are inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 140.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 133.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:30 AM CDT Saturday was 140.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 134.7 feet
    Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 133.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    139.6 feet on 05/04/1957.
