This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong winds may gust up to 45 to 50 mph today across portions of
central and south-central Kansas today. Refer to the Wind Advisory
for more details.

These winds will also support very high grassland fire danger across
portions of central and south-central Kansas today.

A slight chance for a thunderstorm exists late tonight across
portions of central Kansas. Strong or severe storms are not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

An active weather pattern looks like it could affect the region with
periods of thunderstorms possible from Wednesday night into the
weekend. Thunderstorm chances and severity may increase as early as
Thursday evening and night. Storm chances will remain in the
forecast for Friday through Sunday with additional rounds of severe
weather possible. Stay tuned for the latest updates as the weekend
approaches.
