...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN BRUNSWICK AND
SOUTHEASTERN COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM EDT...

At 853 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Honey Island to Grissettown. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oak Island, Shallotte, Sunset Beach, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach,
Iredell, Makatoka, Civie Town, Freeland, Grissettown, Honey Island,
Supply, Exum, Longwood, Seaside, Brunswick County Community College
Main Campus, Mill Creek, Russtown, Ash, and Winnabow.

This includes US Route 17 in Brunswick County between mile markers 2
and 37.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southeastern North Carolina.
