...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties in central Ohio, Delaware,
  Franklin, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Champaign.

* WHEN...Until 115 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1034 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
    2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
    0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Delaware, Hilliard,
    Marysville, Worthington, Powell, Sunbury, Plain City,
    Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, New California, Polaris,
    Milford Center, Shawnee Hills, Galena, Ostrander, Riverlea
    and Woodstock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
