FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL/SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LINCOLN IL
428 AM CDT THU APR 28 2016

.DISCUSSION...
THE WEATHER SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO
THE AREA OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY PUSH OFF
TO OUR EAST LATER TODAY. THERE MAY BE ADDITIONAL SHOWERS DEVELOP
ACROSS THE NORTH THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING BUT COVERAGE OF THOSE
WILL BE SCATTERED. QUIET WEATHER WILL SETTLE IN FOR FRIDAY INTO
FRIDAY EVENING BEFORE RAIN CHANCES INCREASE AGAIN FOR THE WEEKEND.
GOOD TO VERY GOOD VENTILATION RATES/SMOKE DISPERSION CAN BE EXPECTED
THIS AFTERNOON...BUT LOWER MIXING HEIGHTS/VENT RATES ON FRIDAY WILL
NOT BE AS FAVORABLE FOR SMOKE DISPERSION.
