Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
318 PM CST Fri Feb 17 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Tomorrow will see somewhat lighter winds, but still relatively dry
across Central Illinois. Minimum RH values will not be quite as
low, however, the 10 hour fuels in place across the region have
dropped to the 5-6% category over portions of the west. An
approaching cold front tonight may keep the pressure gradient
tight enough for winds to remain 8 to 12 mph. The cold front looks
to pass on Saturday, shifting surface winds to the west at 5 to 15
mph. Ventilation rates should be fair to poor the next two days
with both limited transport winds and mixing heights.
