FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL/EASTERN AND SOUTHEASTERN IL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LINCOLN IL
300 PM CST FRI NOV 21 2014

.DISCUSSION...
HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN OHIO VALLEY WILL PULL AWAY FROM ILLINOIS
LATE THIS AFTERNOON... ALLOWING A STORM SYSTEM TO APPROACH. SOUTHEAST
WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH WILL VEER SOUTH OVERNIGHT INTO
SATURDAY AND REMAIN GUSTY ON SATURDAY. PERIODS OF RAIN WILL OCCUR
THIS WEEKEND...POSSIBLY BEGINNING AS A PERIOD OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN THIS
EVENING NORTH OF A SPRINGFIELD TO TERRE HAUTE LINE. DESPITE THE FACT THAT
WINDS WILL BE TRENDING GUSTY...THE LOW EXPECTED MIXING HEIGHTS WILL PROVIDE
FOR POOR SMOKE DISPERSION THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
