.DISCUSSION...
Moisture levels will be on a steady increase starting tonight as
dewpoints rise ahead of a couple of low pressure systems. Storms
will begin to affect areas west of I-55 late tonight and Wednesday
morning, with an expansion of storm coverage eastward Wed night
with rain lingering on Thursday morning. Rainfall totals from late
tonight through early Thursday may reach as high as 1.5 inches
in areas along and west of I-55, with around 3/4 inch in eastern
Illinois. Additional heavy rain is expected during the weekend.

Winds will remain south to southwest ahead of a cold front that
will pass Wednesday night. Then winds will become W-NW into
Thursday.
