THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASE LATE THIS AFTERNOON, WITH BETTER
CHANCES THIS EVENING AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST.
SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE BETWEEN 7 PM AND 11 PM
NORTHWEST OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER, WITH DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN
HAZARD. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLASH FLOODING WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

STORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE ON TUESDAY...AND AGAIN WEDNESDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY. HEAVY RAINS MAY ALSO OCCUR WITH SOME OF THE
THUNDERSTORMS ON WEDNESDAY.

FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE ILLINOIS RIVER THROUGH THE ENTIRE
PERIOD WITH MAJOR FLOODING AROUND HAVANA AND DOWNSTREAM OF
BEARDSTOWN, WITH MODERATE FLOODING AROUND BEARDSTOWN.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE TONIGHT, AS A COLD FRONT
APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY APPROACH
SEVERE LEVELS OVERNIGHT, WITH DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN HAZARD.
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE ON TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. A
FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SOUTH OF I-70 TUESDAY
AND WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING, WITH DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN
HAZARD. SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE HEAVY RAINS
OVER 1 INCH, ESPECIALLY ON WEDNESDAY.

FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE WABASH RIVER THROUGH THE ENTIRE
PERIOD. FLOODING ALONG THE LITTLE WABASH RIVER NEAR CLAY CITY
SHOULD SUBSIDE LATER TONIGHT. FLOODING ALONG THE EMBARRAS RIVER
NEAR LAWRENCEVILLE IS EXPECTED TO SUBSIDE BY THIS EVENING.
