ILLINOIS AND EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY NIGHT AS AN
UPPER-LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHES FROM THE SOUTHWEST. WHILE ICE
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE QUITE LIGHT...SLICKS SPOTS MAY
DEVELOP ON AREA ROADWAYS.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY NIGHT ALONG AND
SOUTHEAST OF A CHAMPAIGN TO TAYLORVILLE LINE...AS A STRONGER
WEATHER SYSTEM AND MUCH WARMER AIR ARRIVE. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
ANTICIPATED...ALTHOUGH RAINFALL TOTALS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM
AN INCH TO AN INCH AND A QUARTER BY SUNDAY EVENING. WITH THE GROUND
FROZEN FROM RECENT COLD WEATHER...THIS COULD LEAD TO SOME FLOODING
OF LOW LYING AREAS AND RISES ON AREA CREEKS AND RIVERS.
