A STORM SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTH WILL SPREAD RAIN BACK
INTO OUR AREA LATE TONIGHT...MOST LIKELY AFTER MIDNIGHT...AND
THEN BECOME MIXED WITH SNOW TOWARDS SUNRISE WEST OF THE ILLINOIS
RIVER. NO ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

AS COLDER AIR GRADUALLY ARRIVES ON WEDNESDAY...THE MIX OF RAIN AND
SNOW WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW BY AFTERNOON. A LIGHT ACCUMULATION OF
AN INCH OR LESS WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS EXPECTED EAST
TOWARDS THE I-55 CORRIDOR. CONSIDERABLE UNCERTAINTY STILL EXISTS WITH
THIS SYSTEM...SO MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS ON THIS
POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW TOMORROW.
