THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
ILLINOIS AND EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW WILL OCCUR INTO EARLY AFTERNOON WITH
ACCUMULATIONS OF LESS THAN ONE INCH. A MORE SIGNIFICANT AREA OF
SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD PARTS OF CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS
FROM MID AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING. ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR
TWO WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING
HOURS SOUTH OF A SPRINGFIELD TO CHAMPAIGN LINE...WITH HEAVIER
TOTALS TO THE SOUTH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

MUCH COLDER AIR WILL FILTER SOUTH INTO THE REGION ON MONDAY AND
TUESDAY KEEPING TEMPERATURES SOME 20 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL
FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. DAYTIME HIGHS MONDAY AND TUESDAY WILL
STRUGGLE THROUGH THE 2OS...WHILE COLDEST EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES
WILL BE ON TUESDAY WITH READINGS DROPPING TO BETWEEN 7 AND 12
ABOVE ZERO...AND IN THE MIDDLE TEENS BY WEDNESDAY MORNING. WIND
CHILLS EARLY TUESDAY MORNING WILL RANGE FROM ZERO TO 10 BELOW
ZERO...AND AROUND ZERO BY EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE
THROUGH THE EVENING WITH ACCUMULATIONS RANGING FROM 2 TO 3 INCHES
ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF I-70. FURTHER NORTHWEST...SNOWFALL TOTALS OF
1 TO 2 INCHES WILL OCCUR BY THIS EVENING. ALTHOUGH WINDS WILL NOT
BE MUCH OF A FACTOR THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING...LOOK FOR WEST TO
NORTHWEST WINDS TO INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH MONDAY MORNING AS
COLDER AIR ARRIVES WITH SOME BLOWING SNOW POSSIBLE IN OPEN AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

MUCH COLDER AIR WILL FILTER SOUTH INTO THE REGION MONDAY AND
SPEND SEVERAL DAYS ACROSS THE AREA. DAYTIME HIGHS MONDAY AND
TUESDAY WILL STRUGGLE THROUGH THE 2OS...WHILE COLDEST EARLY
MORNING TEMPERATURES WILL BE ON TUESDAY WITH READINGS DROPPING TO
BETWEEN 10 AND 15 DEGREES. WIND CHILLS EARLY TUESDAY MORNING WILL
RANGE FROM ZERO TO 5 BELOW ZERO...AND AROUND ZERO BY WEDNESDAY
MORNING.
