ILLINOIS...NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT WILL TRIGGER SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS.
WHILE WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT ANTICIPATED...A FEW STRONG
STORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS, HAIL, AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL BE
POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

PERIODIC THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY AS
THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY REMAINS IN THE VICINITY.

HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL BUILD ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH
WEDNESDAY...WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES EXCEEDING 100 DEGREES EACH DAY.
THE HOTTEST DAY APPEARS TO BE TUESDAY WHEN THE HEAT INDEX MAY
CLIMB INTO THE 105 TO 110 DEGREE RANGE.

FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE ILLINOIS RIVER THROUGH THE PERIOD.
