ILLINOIS AND EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

ALTHOUGH TEMPERATURES HAVE WARMED INTO THE MID 30S OR HIGHER
TODAY...THERE STILL MAY BE SOME PATCHY ICE LINGERING. WATCH FOR
SLICK SURFACES ON UNTREATED ROADWAYS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

MUCH COLDER AIR WILL INVADE THE AREA AGAIN WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY WITH
EARLY MORNING WIND CHILLS EXPECTED TO DROP TO BETWEEN 10 BELOW AND
20 BELOW ZERO THURSDAY MORNING.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED THROUGH TONIGHT. HOWEVER...SPOTTERS
ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT ANY WINTRY PRECIPITATION TYPE AND AMOUNTS TO
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TODAY.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

NO WEATHER HAZARDS ARE EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BRING A THREAT FOR SNOW TO
THE INTERSTATE 70 CORRIDOR WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. AN INCH
OR TWO OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY EVENING WITH
HEAVIER SNOWFALL TOTALS JUST TO THE SOUTH OF THIS AREA. IN
ADDITION TO THE SNOW THREAT...MUCH COLDER WEATHER WILL MOVE IN
WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT WITH WIND CHILL VALUES BY THURSDAY
MORNING DROPPING TO BETWEEN ZERO AND 10 BELOW ZERO.
