Storm chances are forecast for Friday night, as well as Monday
night and Tuesday. The threat of severe storms during the
extended forecast appears low.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this morning. No severe
weather is expected, but locally heavy rain and dangerous
lightning will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

Storm chances return for Friday night into Saturday morning, and
late Monday night through Tuesday evening. The threat of severe
storms during the extended forecast appears low.

Illinois and southeast Illinois.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible today. Some of the storms
south of I-70 this afternoon may be strong, with gusty winds.
Locally heavy rain and dangerous lightning are also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

Storm chances return for Friday night into Saturday morning, and
late Monday night through Tuesday night. The threat of severe
storms during the extended forecast appears low.
