Storm chances are forecast for Friday night, as well as Monday
night and Tuesday. The threat of severe storms during the

Illinois and southeast Illinois.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening.
Some of the storms south of I-70 this afternoon may be strong,
with gusty winds. Locally heavy rain and dangerous lightning are
also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

Storm chances return for Friday night into Saturday morning, and
late Monday night through Tuesday night. The threat of severe
