...Mild Fall Challenges Latest First Freeze Records...

A weather pattern featuring above normal temperatures this fall,
is threatening the latest first freeze at many sites with long-
term temperature records across central and southeast Illinois.
Some sites touched the freezing mark back on October 22, but many
sites are set to break a record in the next few days. Danville and
Minonk have already broken their record this year.
