...PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING...

PATCHY DENSE FOG HAS DEVELOPED IN AREAS ROUGHLY NORTH OF A PEORIA
TO BLOOMINGTON LINE EARLY THIS EVENING AND WAS EDGING SLOWLY
SOUTH. THE PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL BE AROUND FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL
HOURS BEFORE WINDS START TO INCREASE OVERNIGHT WHICH SHOULD HELP
DISSIPATE THE FOG. IN ADDITION...WHERE THE FOG WAS DENSE...SURFACE
TEMPERATURES WERE AT OR JUST BELOW FREEZING THIS EVENING WHICH MAY
CAUSE SOME SLICK ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGE DECKS AND
OVERPASSES.

WHEN ENCOUNTERING DENSE FOG...MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE LOW BEAM
HEADLIGHTS...REDUCE YOUR SPEED AND ALLOW PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN
VEHICLES.
