...Gusty Winds This Afternoon and Evening...

A deep area of low pressure and cold front moving through the
area later today will bring breezy southwest to west winds to
eastern Kentucky during the afternoon and into the evening. Expect
sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph along with gusts to around 35 mph.
Locations above 2500 feet could see gusts in the 40 to 50 mph
range, for a time, as this cold front passes.

Winds of these speeds could make for tough driving conditions for
high profile vehicles, particularly on north and south oriented
routes.
