At 326 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles south of Fort Stockton, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Emergency management reported golf-ball sized hail 11 miles south of Fort Stockton along US 385 at 321 PM CDT. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Pecos County. This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 272 and 274. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
