.DISCUSSION...A front will gradually move onshore of Friday bringing
moderate rain to the coastal areas with light rain spreading inland
during the afternoon from the Cascades west. Dry and warm weather
continues  east of the Cascades and across Northern California through
Friday afternoon. Moderate precipitation will spread across the area
Friday evening through Saturday morning with widespread wetting
rainfall. This is followed by a cool, showery weather  pattern the
remainder of the weekend. There is also a slight chance of
thunderstorms Saturday afternoon for inland areas. Another front
arrives on Monday bringing additional chances for precipitation.
