Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure will persist to
the W of the N and central waters through Thu, then move farther
S to the W of the central and S waters through Fri, and W of the
S waters Fri night through Sat. A coastal low pressure trough
will be along the the central California coast through Thu, then
across the central and S areas Thu night and Fri and become
weaker. A cold front will move SE into the N waters Fri, then the
central waters Sat, and over the S waters Sat night into Sun then
move S of the waters later Sun. Another cold front will cross
into the N waters Sun night and move over the central and S
waters Mon and Mon night. High pressure will build in from the W
and NW later Sun through Mon night as a coastal trough develops
along the central and southern coast. Please be advised that the
USCG remote communications facility at Cambria is experiencing
technical difficulties. Technicians are aware of the problem. We
apologize for any inconvenience.
