FOR NEMAHA AND NORTHWESTERN RICHARDSON COUNTIES...
At 427 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of Elk
Creek, or 11 miles southwest of Auburn, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Auburn, Peru, Nemaha, Brownville, Brownville State Recreation Area,
The Highway 62 and 105 Junction, and Howe.
