...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Coal,
north central Atoka and south central Hughes Counties through 500 PM
CDT...

At 407 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southwest of Ashland, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wardville, Chockie, and northeastern Atoka Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor NOAA Weather
Radio, local radio stations or available television stations for
additional information and possible warnings from the National
Weather Service.
