Past 24 hour precipitation...
Widespread moderate to heavy rain has fallen across most of the
region over the past 24 hours. Rainfall totals across eastern
Ohio and western Pennsylvania ranged from 0.25 to 1.75 inches.
Across northern West Virginia, rainfall totals ranged from a
trace to 0.50 inches.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is
forecast to range from 1.00 to 3.00 inches. The highest forecast
rainfall is expected across western Pennsylvania.

River trends...
Rivers and streams are forecast to rise rapidly over the next 24
to 48 hours. Most forecast locations are forecast to reach action
stage. Numerous locations are forecast to reach flood stage.
