THE CURRENT WINTER STORM PRODUCED 3.2 INCHES AT PEORIA...WHICH
BRINGS THE TOTAL FOR THE SEASON UP TO 53.4 INCHES. THIS IS THE MOST
TO FALL IN A SINGLE WINTER IN PEORIA...BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF
52.5 INCHES SET IN THE WINTER OF 2010-11. ANY ADDITIONAL SNOW THAT
OCCURS OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS WILL BE ADDED TO THE NEW RECORD.

DURING METEOROLOGICAL WINTER...WHICH CONSISTS OF THE MONTHS OF
DECEMBER THROUGH FEBRUARY...A TOTAL OF 49.6 INCHES FELL. THAT TOTAL
RANKS SECOND HIGHEST FOR THAT PARTICULAR PERIOD.
